Tommy Huang

design at Green Dragon Office

I have worked with Green Dragon Office designing graphics and publications since 2018 in various capacities; first as an intern; as a full-time designer from 2019–2022; and as part-time 2022 onward. I've had my hand in many books and projects since I started, though my primary focus is now on typography, typesetting, and production. Some books I've designed with Lorraine Wild include:

Realms of the Dharma: Buddhist Art Across Asia, (2025)

Another World: The Transcendental Painting Group, (2021)

Senon Williams: words don't mean much, (2021)

Michael Luchs: Fictitious Character, (2018)

Some books I've helped produce with Lorraine Wild and Xiaoqing Wang include:

  • · We Live in Painting: The Nature of Color in Mesoamerican Art
  • · The Portable Universe / El universo en tus manos: Thought and Splendor of Indigenous Colombia
  • · With Eyes Opened: Cranbrook Academy of Art Since 1932
  • · Scandinavian Design and the United States, 1800–1980

Other projects I've contributed to include the identity and signage for Alice Waters and David Tanis's restaurant LULU at the Hammer Museum, UCLA; recurring print and exhibition design for the Kemper Art Museum at Washington University in St. Louis; and the identity for University of California: Santa Cruz MFA in Environmental Art + Social Practice program.
